A Little Angel

An Eternal Memory Of
A LITTLE ANGEL

Today it would be wonderful
to see you play or smile
but Heaven lent you to this world
for just a little while
And in that short but precious time
you brought along much love
and all that love is with you now
In Heaven up above
Your leaving caused so many tears
and such a lot of pain
but God needed one more Angel
so he took you back again.xx."

A butterfly lights beside us like a sunbeam
And for a brief moment its glory
and beauty belong to our world
But then it flies again
And though we wish it could have stayed...
We feel lucky to have seen it.

You've stepped across to Heaven's shore

And we are but a breath behind.

Holding dear the truth that

All that bound us close on earth

Binds us still....

For love endures forever

Hugs From Heaven
by Charlotte Anselmo

When you feel a gentle breeze
Caress you when you sigh
It's a hug sent from Heaven
From a loved one way up high.

If a soft and tender raindrop
Lands upon your nose
They've added a small kiss
As fragile as a rose.

If a song you hear fills you
With a feeling of sweet love
It's a hug sent from Heaven
From someone special up above.

If you awaken in the morning
To a bluebird's chirping song
It's music sent from Heaven
To cheer you all day long.

If tiny little snowflakes
Land upon your face
It's a hug sent from Heaven
Trimmed with Angel lace.

So keep the joy in your heart
If you're lonely my dear friend
Hugs that are sent from Heaven
A broken heart will mend.

"IN THIS TROUBLED WORLD

IT'S REFRESHING TO FIND

SOMEONE WHO STILL

HAS THE TIME TO BE KIND,

SOMEONE WHO STILL

HAS THE FAITH TO BELIEVE

THAT THE MORE THAT YOU GIVE,

THE MORE YOU RECEIVE,

SOMEONE WHO'S READY

BY THOUGHT, WORD OR DEED

TO REACH OUT A HAND

IN THE HOUR OF NEED"

A Grandma's Request

IF YOU REALLY LOVE ME,
AND I BELIEVE YOU DO,
IF YOU REALLY WANT TO HELP ME,
HERE IS WHAT I NEED FROM YOU.

SIT DOWN BESIDE ME,
REACH OUT AND TAKE MY HAND,
SAY "MY FRIEND, I'VE COME TO LISTEN,
I WANT TO UNDERSTAND."

JUST HOLD MY HAND AND LISTEN
THAT'S ALL YOU NEED TO DO,
AND IF BY CHANCE I SHED A TEAR,
IT'S ALRIGHT IF YOU DO TO.

I SWEAR THAT I'LL REMEMBER
TILL THE DAY I'M VERY OLD,
THE TRUE FRIEND WHO SAT AND HELD MY HAND
AND LET ME BARE MY SOUL !

Friends
image
When days are filled with sunshine
How close we hold a friend,
It's good to share the laughter
And dreams that have no end.

But when the days are shadowed,
And touched with pain or grief,
The bonds of friendship tighten
Almost beyond belief.

The burdens aren't so heavy
When someone takes your hand,
And not a word is needed
For true friends to understand.

The world would be more lonely
In sunny hours or grey,
Without the bonds of friendship
To help us every day!

Twas the month before Christmas

and I dreaded the days,

That I knew I was facing - the holiday craze.

The stores were all filled with holiday lights, In hopes of drawing customers

by day and by night.

As others were making their holiday plans,

My heart was breaking - I couldn't understand.

I had lost my dear child a few years before.

And I knew what my holiday had in store.

When out of nowhere, there arose such a sound,

I sprang to my feet and was looking around,

Away to the window I flew like a flash,

Tore open the windows and threw up the sash.

The sight that I saw took my breath away,

And my tears turned to smiles in the light of the day.

When what to my wondering eyes should appear,

But a cluster of butterflies fluttering near.

With beauty and grace they performed a dance,

I knew in a moment this wasn't by chance.

The hope that they gave me was a sign from above,

That my child was still near me and that I was loved.

The message they brought was my holiday gift,

And I cried when I saw them in spite of myself.

As I knelt closer to get a better view,

One allowed me to poet it- as if it knew-

That I needed the touch of its fragile wings,

To help me get through the holiday scene.

In the days that followed I carried the thought,

Of the message the butterflies left in my heart-

That no matter what happens or what days lie ahead,

Our children are with us - they're not really dead.

Yes, the message of the butterflies still rings in my ears,

A message of hop- a message so dear.

And I imagined they sang as they flew out of sight,

"To all bereaved parents- We love you tonight"

Happy birthday sweet little Angels mean, Heavens eating lots of ice cream.   Babydolls and tea cups are abundent up there, playing dressup and makeup and fussing with their hair.  Walking in shoes 10 sizes to large, wearing dresses adorned with veils and corsage.  Happy the play and always they pray that one day their Mommies will come there to stay.  But until that day they will always be happy, while waiting and playing and jumping and clapping.  Little sweet babygirls they all surely are, little pink flowers away and afar.  My mommy is pretty they say to each other, my sister, my cousin, and even my brother, will one day be with us they all do declare.  Daddies and Mommies and grandmas and all, will be there and rock them and kiss them and call, to the Savior amongst them who loves them so dear, Jesus dear Jesus, You held them so Near.  You took them from us to a place way up high and this is the promise no one can deny, that soon he'll come back and take us away, to Heaven so Glorious will all want to play.  Until we are with you sweet Angels so dear,  play with the babies and don't have any fear.  Together we'll be, not just now or just then, and will laugh and will run and will dance with the wind.  Love to the Babies in Jesus' care,  It won't be much longer until we'll be there.

MOMMY PLEASE DONT CRY!!!!!

Mommy please don't cry...
A beautiful angel carried me here!
I met Jesus today, mommy.
He cradled me in his big, strong arms.
He made me feel so happy inside.
Mommy please don't cry...
Heaven is wonderful.
Did you know the streets are made of gold?
Real gold!
I have lots of friends, Mommy.
We run and play, we giggle and laugh.
I can't wait to show you my secret hideouts!
Mommy please don't cry...
When I fall it doesn't hurt!
There are no tears in Heaven.
I've met a man named Noah.
He told me about his big boat,
all the animals, and the very first rainbow.
Have you ever heard of Noah, Mommy?
Mommy please don't cry...
We have lots of parties here.
with streamers and hats,
and the best chocolate cake ever!
When it's time to rest, angels tuck us in.
I never get scared Mommy,
there is no darkness here!
Jesus is the light of Heaven.
Mommy please don't cry...
The angels are always singing.
I love to sing with the angels.
You'd be proud of me,
I have a pretty good voice.
I must have gotten it from you.
There is a river here,
in the most beautiful garden
you could ever imagine...
and a huge tree with yummy fruit.
The angels call it the tree of life.
Mommy, it's so wonderful to be alive in Heaven!Mommy, please don't
cry...
Sometimes I just like to be by myself.
That's when I think of you.
Someday Mommy, we will hold each other tight!
Then you will cradle me in you arms,
and stroke my hair...
And once again, our hearts will beat together.
Mommy, please don’t cry...
I'll wait right here for you.
